I am originally from the Congo (DRC), via Belgium - a makeup artist, photographer and painter. I am very passionate about art as a whole, but for the sake of industry, cosmetics, photography and canvas painting are the artistic gifts in which I have been truly blessed.

 

I am a M·A·C cosmetics certified artist since 2012, Level 1 and 2, from everyday makeup looks to bridal,editorial, fashion show and theatrical makeup artistry. I am a student of the beauty industry, work and practice on it everyday.

 

My passion began when I was very young and has continued into my professional career. The things I love most in Art: color, image, effects, textures... – hence my bringing together of beauty and photography art through Charlyko.

 

I've worked in the beauty industry since the year 2000, and worked for several major cosmetic companies such as M·A·C cosmetics as a retail manager, Lancôme cosmetics, Trish McEvoy just to name a few.  It truly helped me to gain the confidence I have today and humbled me to learn new things from fellow artists on a daily basis.

 

I cannot count the number of times I have created a facial masterpiece and my clients wished they could just keep it on for days! How about if we just took a picture, it'll last longer.
